แหล่งท่องเที่ยวทุ่งดอกทานตะวัน แหล่งใหญ่ๆจะอยู่บริเวณเขตติดต่อระหว่างจังหวัดลพบุรีและจังหวัดสระบุรี ตามเส้นทางสายพัฒนานิคม-วังม่วง มีการทำไร่ทานตะวันกันมากในช่วงฤดูหนาว
ในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนธันวาคม และดอกทานตะวันจะบานสะพรั่งในช่วงเดือนพฤศจิกายนถึงเดือนมกราคม โดยแหล่งเพาะปลูกที่สำคัญในประเทศไทย คือ จังหวัดลพบุรี ปลูกทานตะวันประมาณ 200,000-300,000 ไร่ ปลูกกระจายอยู่ทั่วไปในเขตอำเภอเมือง อำเภอหนองม่วง อำเภอโคกสำโรง อำเภอชัยบาดาลและอำเภอพัฒนานิคม ในจังหวัดลพบุรี
ที่หมู่ 7 ถนนนารายณ์มหาราช ต.นิคมสร้างตนเอง อ.เมืองลพบุรี จ.ลพบุรี ก็มีทุ่งดอกทานตะวันประมาณ20ไร
แต่มัการปลูกกันเป็นจำนวนมาก บริเวณวัดเวฬุวัน แถวๆวัดเวฬุวันก็มีทุ่งทานตะวันเขาจีนแล มีทุ่งทานตะวันขนาดใหญ่มีพื้นที่กว้างใหญ่มากกว่า 1,400 ไร่ อยู่ใกล้วัดเวฬุวัน (วัดเขาจีนแล) และมีพระพุทธรูปใหญ่ประดิษฐานอยู่บนยอดเขาให้ทำบุญไหว้พระเสริมมงคลด้วย
บริเวณทางเข้าเขื่อนป่าสักชลสิทธิ์ หมู่ที่ 1 ต.หนองบัว อ.พัฒนานิคม จ.ลพบุรี เส้นทางสายพัฒนานิคม-วังม่วง ซอย 28 ก็มีทุ่งดอกทานตะวันประมาณ30ไร่
บ้านหัวดง ต.คลองเกตุ อ.โคกสำโรง จ.ลพบุรี มีพื้นที่ปลูกทั้งหมด 1,500 ไร่
กม.ที่ 11 – 12 ทางหลวงหมายเลข 21 ต.ช่องสาริกา อ.พัฒนานิคม จ.ลพบุรี จำนวน 20 ไร่
